We ensure your loved one is always under our care and not transported out of New York State.
When a Funeral Director uses another crematory, it can take up to 48 hours for the cremation to be performed. During this time, your loved one is in the care of an unknown person.
This can discomfort you as you don't know who cares for your loved one.
Therefore, we recommend you choose our crematory facility to ensure that your loved one is under our constant supervision and care.
Why is this important? In the United States, the Rules and Regulations of the New York State Division of Cemeteries are considered the Nation's gold standard of crematory regulation and protection. But you are only offered that protection if the cremation process occurs in New York State. Further with our firm your loved one never leaves our immediate care and supervision. We participate, supervise, and witness the cremation, while other firms just deliver your loved one to the crematory, and leave prior to the actual cremation.
When a member of your family dies, you should never have additional concern and anxiety, wondering, if you called the right funeral home, and more importantly which crematory, did that funeral home use? Ask your funeral director why you can't go to the crematory they recommend.
Many local funeral homes will select a crematory outside the area, or New York State to benefit themselves financially, but unfortunately offers much less protection to you, and more importantly, to your loved one.

Current New York State Law requires a registered licensed funeral home to enter into arrangements with the authorizing agent, facilitate the transportation of your loved one from the place of death to the crematory, and file necessary permits.
The Law does not permit Funeral Homes to perform the actual cremation.
